Friday, November 6: Veterans Free Luncheon, New Bern National Guard Armory. 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Catered by Moore’s BBQ and sponsored by Craven County Veterans Council.
Friday, November 6: Evita: Musical Drama, presented by New Bern Civic Theatre. Scheduled performances are November 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 20 & 21 @ 7:30 p.m. and November 8 & 15 @ 2 p.m.
Friday, November 6: Rock-n-Roast for Hope Clinic, Silos Red Rooster, Oriental. 6 p.m. Enjoy oysters and clam chowder with music by Saltwater Gold.
Saturday, November 7: Nantucket ROCKS for Habitat for Humanity, New Bern Farmer’s Market. 6 to 11 p.m. Food trucks on site. Cash bar with beer and wine available.
Saturday, November 7: Mistletoe Magic Holiday Gift Show, Crystal Coast Civic Center, Morehead City.
Tuesday, November 10: U.S. Air Force Heritage Brass Band, North Carolina History Center. 7 p.m. (Doors open at 6:15 p.m.). Free event, but seating is limited. For reservations, visit this link.
Wednesday, November 11: FREE Tryon Palace admission for all active duty and military veterans, with discounted admission for military families.
Friday, November 13: Downtown New Bern ArtWalk, 5 to 8 p.m. Presented by the Craven Arts Council.
Friday, November 13 through Sunday, November 15: Holiday Gift Show, New Bern Riverfront Convention Center. Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday from Noon to 4 p.m.
Saturday, November 14: Fairfield Harbour Arts and Crafts Bazaar. Fairfield Harbour Community Center, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturday, November 21: Master Gardeners Bulb Sale, New Bern Farmer’s Market. 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Also, make orders and pickup orders for Thanksgiving dinner items, including turkeys, collards, sweet potatoes, veggies, pumpkins, pecans, apple pies, cakes, and other goodies.
Thursday, November 26: Twin Rivers YMCA Turkey Trot. Taberna Country Club, 8 a.m.
Friday, November 27 through December 24: Light up the Season with New Bern’s Beary Merry Christmas Celebration at Bear Plaza in downtown New Bern. 3 to 7 p.m. Free event, but photos with Santa are $5.
Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28: Christmas at the Barnyard, 844 Roberts Road, Newport. Evening farm tour, bonfire, Christmas music and decorations and visit by Santa. $6 per person (Under 2 is free).
Saturday, November 28: Emerald Isle Christmas Parade, Hwy 58, Emerald Isle. 3 to 5 p.m.
Saturday, November 28: Swansboro Christmas Flotilla, Downtown Swansboro. 6 to 9 p.m.
